Another successful IPMC is behind us, and so much lays ahead for MSPCA!

In her president's message, Samantha shares the success of the Interstate Pest Management Conference held in January, the important work the Maryland contingency completed on behalf of the industry during NPMA's Legislative Day, and introduces the newly installed Board. She also notes that the MSPCA Last Chance Recertification Webinar is back by popular demand and will be held May 23rd.

During the first Board meeting of the year, the MSPCA Board of Directors was established and we are excited to welcome two new members to the MSPCA Board - Kaliksa Gooch and Zachary Travers. The executive board positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer were also appointed by the Board. MSPCA utilizes the VPMA Certified WDI Inspector program for Maryland PMPs as the first step in earning MSPCA WDI-O credentialing. After taking the Virginia course and passing their exam, the next step is to complete the Maryland supplement that covers a few additional points specific to Maryland and take a short MD exam. Virginia is hosting an in-person training event in Northern Virginia on April 10th and will also host a virtual WDI training event on June 4th. MSPCA is offering this 1/2 day virtual webinar for PMPs seeking great pest management training and recertification credits. Recertification credits have been applied for in categories 7A, 7B, 7C, 8, and CORE in Maryland, and in the corresponding categories in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. The cost to register is $65 for MSPCA Members and $95 for non-members.
