MSPCA’s SPAR Program: Advocating for Maryland’s Pest Control Industry

The Maryland State Pest Control Association (MSPCA) plays a vital role as a vigilant advocate for the pest management industry, actively monitoring and responding to regulatory and legislative issues that impact professionals across the state. Through its State Policy Affairs Representative (SPAR) program, MSPCA ensures the industry's voice is heard at the Maryland General Assembly by providing expert testimony, influencing policy decisions, and working closely with NPMA and other stakeholders. Whether addressing recurring concerns like PFAS legislation or preparing for federal advocacy at NPMA’s Legislative Day, MSPCA remains committed to protecting and advancing the interests of its members. MSPCA is so fortunate to have found a terrific SPAR representative in Charles Barton. We were so grateful for all of his hard work that we thanked him with the bug-themed tie! Read his report here.
