MSPCA's President Receives Women in Excellence Award from NPMA!

The National Pest Management Association's (NPMA's) Women of Excellence Award recognizes women who advance the pest management industry every day, in every way. This year’s award recognizes one of our own, President of the Maryland State Pest Control Association (MSPCA), Andrea Brubaker. Andrea Brubaker is the Vice President of Business Development at American Pest. Formerly, Andrea was the Director of Business Development at Triple S Services prior to their merge with American Pest. Andrea has worked in the pest management industry for the past 21 years after being introduced to the industry by her father and starting out as a Commercial Accounts Representative.

Andrea is a certified applicator in Maryland, Virginia, and DC. She is also certified in Public Health and is an Associate Certified Entomologist. Andrea has served the Maryland State Pest Control Association in the past as the Executive Vice President and currently as the Executive President. Andrea was co-founder of the local Maryland, DC, and Virginia Professional Women in Pest Management chapter. She serves the pest management industry as State Policy Affairs Representative for the Maryland State Pest Control Association. Andrea and her husband have three children and a cat named Chuck. When she is not working, Andrea enjoys horseback riding, travel, and time with family.

As this year’s winner this leaves no doubt that we have one of the best on our team here at MSPCA. Andrea, aids in leading our association and our industry, through clear vision, dedication and determination and we are beyond Proud of her accomplishments!
