Maryland State Pest Control Association to Host 2021 Virtual Interstate Pest Management Conference

(Annapolis, MD) — Maryland State Pest Control Association (MSPCA) will be hosting its annual Interstate Pest Management Conference (IPMC) on January 27-29, 2021. The event will take place virtually and feature a variety of experts in the field.

Jerome Goddard, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology, and Plant Pathology at Mississippi State University will deliver the keynote address, “Bed Bugs and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: People Coping with Infestations.”

Other online sessions will include topics ranging from insects found in turf, rodent control inspections, and wildlife management. Maryland, Virginia, and DC regulatory updates will also be provided.

Participation in the event includes continuing education credits in five states and the District of Columbia.
