Ready to Earn MSPCA WDI-O Credentials? Two Convenient Events Coming Up Soon!
Earn MSPCA WDI-O Credentials
MSPCA has trained and credentialed over 200 inspectors, and the credentialed designation is widely recognized by those in the real estate industry. Earning your MSPCA WDI-O Inspector credentials ensures that you are trained to perform consistent and accurate inspections and equips you with the knowledge about the MD-1 form required in Maryland and the NPMA-33 form used in Virginia and other states. Holding these credentials, in addition to carrying the required MDA 7B pest control certification in Maryland, gives you an extra level of professionalism.
Earning MSPCA WDI-O Inspector credentials is a two-step process.

- The first step is to enroll in a VPMA Certified WDI Inspector course and pass the VPMA WDI Exam.
The Virginia Pest Management Association has scheduled the following events. The first two are most convenient for Maryland PMPs:- March 24, 2026, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - In-person event in Manassas, VA
- June 10, 2026, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Live-streaming webinar
- October 6, 2026, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - In-person event in Richmond, VA
If you are ready to take the first step to earn MSPCA WDI-O Credentials, follow the link below to learn about the VPMA courses and get registered! Virginia extends discounted pricing to MSPCA members. Contact VPMA to secure the discount code by emailing office@vpmaonline.com.
- The final step will be to complete the MSPCA WDI-O supplement and pass an open-book Maryland WDI-O Exam. Because there are important and different WDI-O practices and regulations unique to Maryland, the supplement provides additional material not covered in the Virginia course. After completing the VPMA Course and passing the Virginia exam, MSPCA will send a link to the MSPCA WDI-O Supplement. There is a $50 fee for the MSPCA supplement.
Once both steps are completed, you will have earned the MSPCA WDI-O credentials which will be valid for three years before recertification is required! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
